The North Face was started in San Francisco in 1966, by two hiking enthusiasts. It started with a store selling hiking and outdoor equipment, and it wasn’t until 1968 that they moved further north and started producing their own products. Since then, The North Face has sponsored trips to the most remote and unseen places of the globe. Now – more than 50 years later – The North Face still has roots in the outdoors, but has gradually become everyday clothing for many.
