Yeti was founded in 2006 with a simple mission: to build a cooler that the founders would use every day - if it existed. One that had to be built for the serious outdoor enthusiast. A cooler that could take the "abuse" that you knew it would find when you were out in nature or on the water. Therefore, it was decided early on at Yeti that the product innovation should come from a necessity and from own use - not from market research and data analysis.
